Smart Women Tell It Like It Is
We have one more obstacle to overcome, The Problem Pay Inequity Continues: At the time of the EPA's passage (1963), women earned just 58 cents for every dollar earned by men. The Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that by 2007, that rate had only increased to 77 cents, an improvement of less than half a penny a year. Minority women fare the worst. African-American women earn just 64 cents to every dollar earned by white men, and for Latina women that figure drops to merely 52 cents per dollar.... If you are struggling work at home mom, underpaid woman, or woman entrepreneur, you owe it to yourself to learn how you too can be Mistress of Money, and not Slave to it.
